Getting Started: Registration and First Steps

The first thing you need to do is create a Pointsbet account. Head to the website or open the app and click “Sign Up”. You’ll be asked for your name, date of birth, email address and a secure password. Australian regulations require you to be at least 18 years old, so have your ID handy.

After you submit the form, Pointsbet will send a verification email. Click the link inside to confirm your address, then move on to the KYC (Know‑Your‑Customer) step. Upload a clear photo of your driver’s licence or passport and a recent utility bill – the process usually finishes within a few minutes, though sometimes it can take up to 24 hours if the documents need manual review.
